1) Here are your round robin pool play game times for the 2010 NAFA Western World Series for 18Gold, 18A, 18B, 16A and 14A. Once everyone replies to confirm their start times then we will post the double elimination bracket for that class of play on www.youthfastpitch.com
THERE are NO Thursday games to save you a day of motels and a day off of work.
2) Remember no dogs, alcohol or tobacco at the parks.
3) attached are the tournament rules.
4) attached is the tournament ceremonies team info sheet, fill it out and bring it to the tournament ceremonies with you.The Tournament ceremonies will take play Friday at the end of the first day at 7:30pm at Crater Park in Newberg.
5) remind spectators about the admission fees(each player, coach and spectator has to wear the wristband provided by the tournament to get through the gates. They are all labeled and fit snuggly. Nearly everyone plays all three days so the tournament pass saves them money instead of buying a day ticket every day.
6) Tournament Ceremonies...Friday night 7::30pm Crater Park field 3. We will have all teams start on the field in the grass and announce them as they come off the field. Bring your team info sheet with you. This will only take 15 minutes.
7) The pizza party, player contests and pin trading will all take place Friday night at 8pm at Crater Park in Newberg. Please don't let your kids miss out on this most fun part of the event.
8) Have a great time and we thank you very much for being part of the NAFA Summer Nationals as we know there are alot of choices out there.
9) NEED PLAYERS....We have an extensive player free agent list of players that want to play in this event..some whole teams even....so email us if you need a player if you are having issues with numbers.
10) Concessions....We have been complemented all year on the quality, service, pricing, and type of concessions we have provided this year. Try out the kids favorites of Teryaki rice bowl, chili, hamburgers cooked in front of you, and in the mornings pigs in a blanket, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, tea as well as the usual concession stand items.
11) Souvenirs....attached is the team order form for your convenience, just fill it out and email it back and we will make your teams souvenirs up ahead of time...you can also get a discount on the souvenirs by placing a team order also. The tournament logo is on the form as well so you can see what it looks like...we feel it is one of our best ever.
12) We will play games at Crater Park and Jaquith Park which are both on Main Street, 30 seconds from each other.
13) Have FUN...and see you at the ball park.
14) There will be a tournament director at each park to help you.
15) Coaches Meeting & Team Check IN.....there is no coaches meeting or team check in per the coaches requests....Coaches should arrive early and get the player pass wristbands, their copy of the bracket(the one on the walls are the official ones as there may be changes).
16) The Tournament format for each division will be 3 Round robin pool games that seed each team into a double elimination bracket.
Friday Round Robin Pool Play Games for Each Team, There are no restrictions on college players in NAFA for 2010, if the player is age eligible then they can play.
